Dr. Bramwell Brizendine
Dr. Bramwell Brizendine is an Assistant Professor of Computer & Cyber Sciences at Dakota State University. He is the Director of the Vulnerability and Offensive for Offensive and Novel Attacks (VERONA) Lab at DSU. Dr. Brizendine is a subject matter expert in software exploitation, reverse engineering, and malware analysis, and he teaches courses on those topics at both the undergraduate and graduate level. He recently completed his Ph.D., and he created an important software exploitation tool, the JOP ROCKET, paving the road for Jump-oriented Programming (JOP), a specialized form of code-reuse attacks related to ROP, to be made feasible in a Windows environment. Bramwell has presented before at DEF CON and CLEAR, and he was accepted at Hack in the Box: Armory (cancelled due to Coronavirus).
